Hi, Lashville ladies! It's been sometime since I've posted a style piece so I hope this post finds you with spring-time thoughts. This weekend was beautiful here in Nashville, and a perfect opportunity to take some fashion shots around town. I love this city because there's always a new place to discover; whether it be a restaurant, coffee shop, boutique or even somewhere to shoot photos for a blog. I feel blessed to be able to live in a city with such character and filled with so many creative people. Check out my weekend outfit perfect for getting brunch with your girlfriends or discovering your city!

These photos were taken in one of my favorite areas in Nashville, Edge Hill Village, home to Edge Hill coffeeshop (try the lattes) and Taco Mamacita (try the baja fish tacos and definitely get a margarita).

Let me just get this out there, I love name brand clothing as much as the next girl, but as a recent college graduate living on a budget I just can't afford those kind of prices. My strategy when shopping for a new season is to splurge on some statement pieces like this blouse from Free People and pair it with some staples from my closet like this jean skirt I got in a small boutique in California and my Madewell bandana. The perfect part about this strategy is you can make several different outfits with the pieces you've bought so you never wear the same outfit twice!

I hope everyone has a happy Wednesday, and don't forget to treat yo' self boss babe because you're getting one step closer to the weekend!

Thanks for reading!
