Anniversary at Arrington Vineyards
Photos by Kevin Hutchens & Me
This weekend was my three year anniversary with my boyfriend, Kevin Hutchens. Crazy right? We met in Nashville three years ago when I took a year off from college. We did two years long distance when I went back to college in North Carolina, and now we are both back together in Nashville. (Yes ladies, you can make a long distance relationship work!) Kevin is a keyboardist, composer, optimist and all around amazing guy (I know I'm such a stereotype and was totally the girl that feel in love with the musician, whatever!). I think our two years of long distance was a success due to his incredible optimism and ability to make you laugh no matter the situation.
As wine lovers Arrington Vineyards was our first choice for celebrating our anniversary. We packed a picnic and headed 3o minutes south to Franklin, Tennessee. Arrington is a gorgeous countryside vineyard started by Kix Brooks from the country duo Brooks & Dunn. There is a great lawn where locals and tourists alike come to sit, picnic, sunbathe and enjoy a bottle of wine while overlooking the vines. You will find picnic tables and bench swings scattered around the hillside if you don't enjoy sitting in the grass on a blanket. Arrington Vineyards is the perfect choice for a day trip away from the city.
Please enjoy this photo diary of our time at Arrington Vineyards!

That's Kevin! He's the coolest guy and a crazy good piano player. My favorite pastime is to sit and listen to him play on his grand piano.
Walk into Arrington's tasting room to sample it's wine selection. We tasted the Chardonnay, Kinzley Reserve, Scarlet, Antebellum, Russel, KB 814, and Blackberry.
He's pretty stylish as well! Kevin has on a pair of Levi's Chino Joggers and a classic black tee.
Love you, babe!
Our favorite selection from the wine tasting. The Kinzley Reserve is a Sauvignon Blanc that is crisp and refreshing for a day in the sun. In wine connoisseur terms, "this elegant dry white wine has aroma of lemongrass bursting with juicy flavors of melon, green apple and nectarine, " but I'm just a normal wine lover and think it super tasty so you should drink it!
Thanks for stopping by to help us celebrate 3 years!
