'Tis the Season for Fashion
The holiday season is here, which means Christmas parties, family dinners, fancy dates and other fun festivities! While this time of year is exciting, all these occasions require the perfect outfit. If you are anything like me, I could spend an hour thumbing through my closet trying to find that killer ensemble and still never find it. So, I collaborated with stylist and fashionista, Allie Herring, to make getting dressed a little easier!
Allie is a junior at Belmont University studying Public Relations. She has worked as a fashion intern at Cosmopolitan and Seventeen Magazine and as an editorial intern at Fort Worth, Texas Magazine. Although a Texas girl born and bred, she has her eyes set on moving to New York City after graduation to work in the fashion industry.
This first ensemble is perfect for any holiday party or date night. Stay trendy in a slip dress (in any color) and keep warm in a big cozy coat. Allie's faux fur coat is flattering and not too bulky so it reveals just enough of the slip dress. Accessorize with a body chain and statement bracelet to add some shine. Finish the outfit up with Adidas sneakers for comfort or keep it dressy with a pair of heels.

The next ensemble is perfect for a Christmas family dinner, holiday gift shopping or other fun festivities. Neutral colors make an outfit great for any occasion! Allie dresses up a simple white button down with chic leather leggings and a silky polka dot scarf. Black booties should be a staple in any closet (if you don't own a pair add it to the Christmas wish list). Complete your look with a long coat (trench, blazer, bomber, moto, etc.)!
